Nick Sellers is the Founding Account Executive at Legal Back Office, focused on building the sales infrastructure that brings LBO’s comprehensive back office solutions to small and mid-sized law firms across the country.
Nick brings a track record of scaling B2B sales operations from zero, with a deep focus on ROI-driven solutions that solve real business problems. Most recently, he developed cold outreach strategy, prospect research methodologies, and multi-touchpoint sales campaigns for a procurement consolidation platform—the same operational efficiency playbook that now drives demand for LBO’s services. Earlier in his career, he led partnership development efforts in real estate technology, building relationships with key stakeholders and translating complex workflows into compelling client value propositions.
What draws Nick to LBO is the core insight behind the company: managing partners shouldn’t have to choose between growing their practice and protecting their profit margins. He’s seen the problem firsthand—high-performing firms drowning in operational overhead while lacking the strategic financial partnership they need to scale. His approach combines consultative discovery with a clear-eyed focus on firm economics: What does growth cost you today? How can LBO change that equation? Nick works with managing partners and office managers as genuine business partners, not just prospects, and his sales philosophy centers on solving their problem, not placing solutions.
Outside of the law firm world, Nick is an active trail runner and avid snowboarder. He lives in Colorado with his fiancée Brittany and their one-year-old daughter Rhiannon, where he balances time on the mountain and property stewardship with a deep dive into college football analytics. He values the space this life affords to think deeply about the problems he’s solving—and to process firewood when the thinking gets tough.
